Needleworkers at Night

These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in. This group now meets every Monday in the cozy seating area on the first floor of the library.

Chair Yoga Series with the Yoga Loft

Join us for a month of Chair Yoga sessions hosted by The Yoga Loft. We will be practicing simple yoga moves, breathing and stretching both seated in the chair and using the chair for a prop. No experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers!

Coffeehouse Concert with the Jordan TW Duo
Tuesday, March 5, 6pm
Come in from the cold for a Coffeehouse Concert with Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki. Putting a fresh spin on traditional Celtic music, the Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki Duo serve up a dynamic show full of foot-stompin’ fiddle tunes and classic Irish songs.

OFFSITE Pints + Pages
Thursday, March 7, 7pm
Join us for a social book group geared towards readers in their 20’s and 30’s. The featured book for this meeting is Happy Place by Emily Henry. Location TBD!

Needleworkers
Friday, March 8, 10am
This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy a little conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.

Wilmington Community Playgroup
Monday, March 4, 10am
Join CTI for a community playgroup where we’ll work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Ages 0-6, siblings welcome

Pajama Storytime
Monday, March 4, 6pm
Wear your coziest pajamas to this special storytime! This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement for children ages 2-6! Ages 2-6

Preschool Storytime
Tuesday, March 5, 10am
Preschool Storytime includes books, rhymes, music and movement for ages 3-6! Ages 3-6

Time for Twos
Wednesday, March 6, 10am
Join us at our Time for Twos! This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Age 2

Lil’ Bookworms
Wednesday, March 6, 4pm
A book club for students in Kindergarten through Grade 2. Children will enjoy a variety of books while practicing reading and comprehension skills. Each session will end with time to socialize during a craft or activity! Grades K-2

Girls Who Code
Wednesday, March 6, 6pm
Girls Who Code is an organization that aims to close the gender gap in STEM fields by teaching girls to code. Grades 3-5

Baby Time
Thursday, March 7, 10am
Baby Time includes books, rhymes, music and movement for children ages 0-23 months! Ages 0-23 months

Music with Dara
Friday, March 8, 4pm
With keyboard, felt board, and finger puppets, Dara weaves songs (old and new favorites) and creative movement for a fun-filled musical program! Ages 2-5, siblings welcome

Teen Leadership Council
Saturday, March 9, 11am
Are you interested in advocating for what you want at WML? Have you volunteered before, but want to commit to more? Join our new Teen Leadership Council! Please email Teen Librarian srottger@wilmlibrary.org with any questions. Grades 7-12

Teen D&D
Saturday, March 9, 3pm
Interested in finding out more about this fantasy tabletop role-playing game, or looking for a group to play with? This month’s session will be IN PERSON at the library. You may also participate on Discord, a private server. We use DnDBeyond to track and create our characters. Grades 6-12

Book Store Next Door – Winter Hours
The Book Store Next Door will be open on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. They will be closed on Wednesdays in January and February. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.

Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!

WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.

WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.
