ORLANDO, FL — Thomas R. “Tommy” MacDonald, 59 passed away in Orlando Florida. formerly of Wilmington and Lexington, died Thursday January 25, 2024 after a brief illness.

Beloved son of Harry and Elena Ciano MacDonald of Woburn. Husband of Maryanne Towle MacDonald. Father of Cameron MacDonald and wife Alexandria and grandson Theo of Snohomsh, Wa., Brayden MacDonald of Snohomish, Wa, Parker and Ross MacDonald of Orlando, Fl. Sister Nancy MacDonald of Woburn Ma. Predeceased by his younger brother Kenneth MacDonald. Also, beloved aunts Nancy Ferrick of Burlington Ma. , Clarissa Andreotolla of Medford Ma. Uncle Richard MacDonald and his wife Mary of Azle, Tx.

His quick wit, humor and intelligence will be missed by all. Tom was meticulous in his dress with shoes to match all outfits. Tom had a short but meaningful life. He was truly one of a kind. He was a good Dad and a great example as to what a father should be.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated in St. Brigid’s Church, 2001 Mass., Ave., Lexington on Friday, February 16th, at 10 a.m.. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Calling hours IN THE CHURCH, from 8:30 – 9:55 a.m. PRIOR to the Mass. Interment in Westview Cemetery, Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in honor of Thomas to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
