- The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
- TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
- CANS WANTED: Wilmington’s Cub Scout Pack 136 and Boy Scout Troop 136 are currently collecting returnable cans and bottles to help support their Scouting programs. Learn more HERE.
- TICKETS AVAILABLE: The Wilmington Strings Orchestra Parent Support Group is holding a Rock ‘n Roll Bingo fundraiser on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 7pm to 10pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue). Enjoy a fun evening of bingo, music, raffles, prizes, dancing and fun! Tickets cost $20 per person/$200 per table in advance. (Tickets will cost $25 at the door.) - ARTISTS WANTED: Have a special talent in art? The Wilmington Town Museum is looking for local artists to design a more modern and simplistic logo for the museum! The logo must be simple, and symbolizes the town’s history. Learn more HERE.
