WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for January 30, 2024: 16-Year-Old Arrest For Shoplifting; 2 Drivers Served Summonses

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, January 30, 2024:
  • Michael Guevara (24, Everett) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License, No/Expired Inspection Sticker, and License Plate Violation. (12:38am)
  • A Taft Road resident reported unemployment fraud. (9:17am)
  • Police issued a citation to a driver for obstructing an emergency vehicle on Ballardvale Street. (10:23am)
  • Paulo Jose Da Silva (57, Malden) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. Da Silva was involved in a 3-vehicle crash on Lowell Street. (12:09pm)
  • A 16-year-old was arrested for shoplifting at Target. (2:36pm)
  • A caller reported a group of juveniles ran across Main Street towards Cumberland Farms against the light with no regard for traffic. When caller told the group to be more careful, they responded with expletives. Police were unable to locate juveniles. (6:24pm)
