BIG NEWS! Wilmington Memorial Library now has an app! With the WilmLibrary app, you can scan books while on-the-go and find them at your library, read eBooks & magazines, and even manage multiple cards all within the app! Needleworkers at Night

These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in. This group now meets every Monday in the cozy seating area on the first floor of the library.

VIRTUAL: Black Girl Love: Indie Romance Writers Panel with Alexandria House, Katrina Jackson and Ines Johnson

Join us for a chat with Independently published romance authors Alexandria House, Katrina Jackson, and Ines Johnson! As an all Black panel, we’ll be talking about their journey to being self-published, the romance community, their books, and the rise of indie publishing in the last few years. And, just in time for V-Day – it’s perfect!

Cookin’ the Books

If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this group is for you. Pick up a copy of the cookbook (or find a recipe from the book online), register on the library events calendar and record your recipe. Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes! February’s featured cookbook is My Vermont Table by Gesine Bullock-Prado.

One Night in Miami

Join us for a screening of Regina King’s award-winning film “One Night in Miami”. The film is a fictionalized account of a meeting on February 25, 1964 between Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown, and Sam Cooke in a room at the Hampton House, celebrating Ali’s surprise title win over Sonny Liston.

Teen D&D

Interested in finding out more about this fantasy tabletop role-playing game, or looking for a group to play with? This month’s session will be IN PERSON at the library. You may also participate on Discord, a private server. We use DnDBeyond to track and create our characters. Grades 6-12

Book Store Next Door – Winter Hours
The Book Store Next Door will be open on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. They will be closed on Wednesdays in January and February. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.

Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!

WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.

WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.
