- The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is holding its monthly Open House from 2pm to 4pm. Free tours of the building are offered to visitors.
- The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
- St. Thomas Church (126 Middlesex Avenue) is holding its annual Scout Sunday Mass at noon. Cake, coffee, and juice will be provided after mass courtesy of Cub Scout Pack 136 and Boy Scout Troop 136. All Boy and Girl Scouting members, leaders, and parents are invited. Meet inside the front of church, in uniform, by 11:45am. - TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
- CANS WANTED: Wilmington’s Cub Scout Pack 136 and Boy Scout Troop 136 are currently collecting returnable cans and bottles to help support their Scouting programs. Learn more HERE.
