OBITUARY: Diane G. (Patterson) Falwell, 77

PLAISTOW, NH — Diane G. (Patterson) Falwell, age 77, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Exeter Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Richard Falwell with whom she shared 27 memorable years of marriage with.

She was born in Winchester, MA on November 8, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Harold and Lillian (Anderson) Patterson.

Diane attended Wilmington High School. She was a wonderful homemaker for much of her life. Diane’s passion was caring for her family, and she will be dearly missed by all. She created a loving home filled with memories and traditions that will always be cherished by her children. She always went above and beyond to make sure all holidays and birthdays were special for her family. Diane was also a talented painter and had a green thumb for gardening. In addition to her talents, she was often in the kitchen preparing delicious meals.

She is survived by her children Kim Cawthron of Norwood, MA, Laurie Falwell of Kingston, NH, Richard Falwell, Jr., of Hampstead, NH, her stepdaughters, as well as her brother Thomas Patterson, her sisters Donna Rutledge and Arlene DeFilippo, and her many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was sadly predeceased by her sons John Molway and Scott Molway.

Family and friends were invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 5:30pm in the chapel at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Interment will be held privately.
