THIS WEEKEND: St. Thomas & St. Dorothy’s To Hold Cold Weather Clothing Drive On January 20-21

Below is an announcement from The Parish of the Transfiguration:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Parish of the Transfiguration is conducting a Cold Weather Clothing Collection for St. Francis House, the largest day shelter in Massachusetts, this Saturday, January 20, 2024 and Sunday, January 21, 2024. The shelter serves men and women every day, 365 days per year to meet their basic needs.

Requested items include new or clean & gently used men and women’s:

  • Jeans, Slacks, Sweatpants
  • Sweaters, Long Sleeve Shirts
  • Winter Coats, Jackets, Sweatshirts
  • Winter Hats, Gloves, Scarves
  • Winter Boots, Walking Shoes, Sneakers
  • Backpacks and Duffle Bags

Requested items also include new, in original packaging:

  • Men’s and Women’s underwear, undershirts and socks

All sizes are needed. 3x and larger items are in high demand.
