WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools is hosting a LGBTQIA+ Parent Discussion Group on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 6pm to 7pm, in the High School’s Large Instruction Room and also on ZOOM (link in flyer).
The school system invites parents and guardians to participate in a facilitated discussion to support LGBTQIA students and families. An introduction and overview of terms and definitions related to gender identity will be provided, as well as a Q&A and sharing of resources.
The presentation will be hosted by the district’s Social Emotional Learning and Family Engagement Specialists.
