WILMINGTON, MA — Members of the Wilmington community and town officials recently gathered at Rotary Park to remember Sean Collier, a Wilmington native and MIT officer who tragically lost his life in the line of duty during the aftermath of the Marathon Bombing in 2013.
Every January 3 on Sean’s birthday, officials lay a wreath at Sean’s tree and say a few words on what is now known in town as “Sean Collier Day.”
