OBITUARY: Caitlin G. (Murphy) Ruane, 42

WILMINGTON, MA — Caitlin G. (Murphy) Ruane, of Wilmington, formerly of Stoneham, died Tuesday December 12, at Care Dimensions Hospice House of Lincoln.

Born in Malden, MA on January 19, 1981 she was the daughter of Jeremiah and Paula (Mullis) Murphy.

Caitlin was raised in Stoneham and graduated from Stoneham High class of 1999. She went on to continue her studies at the Soldiers Home of Nursing in Chelsea to become an LPN. She has worked in that capacity for the Middlesex Sheriff’s Department for the last 17 years. She loved her time spent with her late dog Lou who passed away recently.

Caitlin was the beloved wife of Mark J. Ruane, the loving daughter of Jeremiah and Paula Murphy of Stoneham. She was the sister of Jennifer Murphy and her husband Alan Van Tassel of East Longmeadow, Michael Murphy and his wife Amy of Wakefield, and Martin Murphy and his wife Amanda of Billerica. She was preceded in death by her daughter Eleanor.

Caitlin’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Wednesday December 20, at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday December 19 from 4-7 p.m.
