NASHUA, NH — Lawrence M. Cail, 74, longtime resident of Amherst, NH, died on November 11, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH.
He was born on August 21, 1949 in Waltham, MA, the son of Ernest J. Cail and Helen G. (Hamilton) Cail. Larry grew up in Wilmington, MA, prior to moving to Londonderry, NH in the 1960’s. Lawrence was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, NH, Class of 1967.
Mr. Cail was a US Army veteran, having been stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War Era.
He was a longtime employee of Teledyne Electronics, Hudson, NH. Larry and his wife, Cheryl owned and operated Cail’s Country Cottage Antiques for over 40 years.
Larry enjoyed art, loved music and was interested in politics which he followed closely. He loved dogs, and one of his chief pleasures was walking his dog in the woods near his home.
Larry was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He is remembered for his kindness, and his outgoing personality.
Family members include his loving wife, Cheryl York-Cail of Amherst, NH; a stepdaughter, Malinda Jones of Nashua, NH; brothers, Ernest and Daniel Cail; sisters, Katherine Rahn and Patricia Brown; three nephews and one niece.
