Special Events and Activities

Santa Claus is excited to meet you at the Festival on Friday evening between 5 and 9 pm for snap-your-own holiday photos. If you can’t come when Santa is here, we will have a special mailbox for the kids to write and mail letters to the North Pole.

All day on Friday, guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite trees across a variety of categories. Donations that receive the most votes will receive a ribbon for their display.

Throughout the Weekend, children can participate in our annual Scavenger Hunt and enter their completed submission in a raffle to win one of 5 mystery gift cards! Before you leave, stop by our bake sale for a sweet treat and visit the Angel Giving Tree to select a holiday gift to purchase for a local family in need.

Non-Profit Fundraisers On-Site

Be sure to support the non-profit fundraisers at the Festival, including the Wilmington Community Fund, Department of Children and Families, Prefect of the Ladies Sodality, Wilmington High School Boosters Association, and a WHS student fundraiser for Parkinson’s Disease. Items sold will include Wilmington ornaments, religious items, raffle tickets, and more! Fundraising tables will be in the classrooms with the Festival of Trees raffle ticket sales.
