Needleworkers at Night

Can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day? We’ve added evening sessions on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy a little conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.

Who doesn’t like a bit of holiday baking? We are so pleased to welcome Chef and Cookbook Author Erin Jeanne McDowell to our virtual stage! Erin will demonstrate how to make one of her favorite recipes and then will have some time to chat with attendees about all of our “burning” questions :).

VIRTUAL 50+ Job Seekers

Winter Wellness Series with Chris Connolly

Feeling stressed this holiday season? Join Chris Connolly, RN, BSN, owner of “Living My Dream Yoga,” for a series of meditation and gentle yoga classes. Classes are designed for both those who are new to meditation and yoga and regular practitioners. This session’s theme is Gentle Yoga.

Winter Birdwatching

Learn to identify backyard birds and go on a winter birdwatching walk in Wildwood Cemetery with Andrew Prazar of Northshore Nature Programs.

Wilmington Community Playgroup
Monday, December 4, 10am
The Community Teamwork Family Resource Network is here weekly! Join us for our community playgroup where we will work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Ask us about any resources we can help provide for you and your family. The first playgroup of every month will focus on infants and toddlers. Ages 0-6, siblings welcome

Read to Brandie
Wednesday, December 6, 6pm
Come read to Brandie, a lovable dog that loves to listen to kids read! Sign up for one 15 minute session per family. Siblings and caregivers are welcome. Grades K-6

Kids’ Book Cafe
Wednesday, December 6, 6:30pm
A book tasting for students in Grades 3-5. Sample a variety of books, both fiction and nonfiction, revolving around the same genre or theme. Each session will include either a themed snack or activity! Grades 3-5

LEGO Building
Thursday, December 7, 4pm
Build with LEGOs at the same time as other LEGO fans and display what you make in the library! Grades K-5

D&D
Saturday, December 9, 3pm
Interested in finding out more about this fantasy tabletop role-playing game, or looking for a group to play with? This month’s session will be IN PERSON at the library. You may also participate on Discord, a private server. We use D&DBeyond to track and create our characters. Grades 6-12

Book Store Next Door
The Book Store Next Door is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.

Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!

WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.

WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.
