WILMINGTON RESTAURANT NEWS: Frangos Chicken Fingers Opens, Michael’s Place To Reopen

Below is some of the latest news from the Wilmington restaurant scene:

  • Frangos Chicken Fingers recently opened inside As Good As It Gets (35 Lowell Street). The restaurant, which also has a location in Woburn, is take-out only, and opens at 4pm each day, after As Good As It Gets closes at 2:30pm. The establishment’s menu — which consists almost exclusively of chicken fingers, french fries, texas toast, coleslaw and two unique dipping sauces — can be found HERE. The restaurant — whose slogan is “The Gold Standard in Chicken Fingers” — offers takeout through services like UberEats and DoorDash, and provides catering. (“Frangos,” by the way, means “Chicken” in Portuguese.) Follow Frangos on Facebook HERE.
  • A Wilmington institution — Michael’s Place (110 Lowell Street) — will be reopening under original owner Mike McCoy. The clip is not yet online, but keep an eye on the show’s YouTube channel. Luna Bristo in Salem, NH and Hot Doogy in Natick were also spotlighted in the episode.
