NEW STEW: Watch November Episode Of WCTV’s ‘Book Stew’ Featuring Author Denene Miller

Below is an announcement from Wilmington Community Television’s “Book Stew:”

My Book Stew guest Denene Millner not only has her own Simon & Shuster imprint, Denene Millner Books, but she also co-wrote Steve Harvey’s 2009 best seller, Act Like A Lady and Think Like A Man, and has published many award-winning children’s picture books, with the goal of promoting Black authors and illustrators. Denene also started the website mybrownbaby.com and wrote for Parenting Magazine and the NY Daily News. But the focus in this episode is on Denene’s debut novel, One Blood, a tempestuous family saga about the ramifications of adoption on families and children. She was a delightful guest and is a most impressive and accomplished woman. Enjoy!

Eileen MacDougall is the host/producer of 115+ episodes of Book Stew, a web series and podcast originating in 2013, featuring every variety of authors, illustrators, poets, and playwrights, plus a cat that survived a tornado and lived to write about it!
