WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for October 27, 2023: Driver Cited After Child Struck In Crosswalk

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, October 27, 2023:
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout, with small child inside car. (1:24pm)
  • Mariana Amaral De Queiroz (34, Tewksbury) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. (2:12pm)
  • Police officer was flagged down by a resident who reported a rock went through their windshield. (2:58pm)
  • A caller reported a man was driving an excavator on the roadway on Treasure Hill Road. Situation checked OK. Equipment was being moved to lot across the street. (5:15pm)
  • A car struck a juvenile pedestrian at Main Street and Richmond Street. Child had scrapes and a hematoma on left side of head. A citation was issued to the driver for failure to yield to pedestrian in crosswalk. (6:38pm)
