WILMINGTON, MA — A Wilmington tradition continues! For the 25th year, the Wilmington Community Fund is selling a commemorative holiday ornament.
The 2023 ornament — a holiday candle — costs $10 and will be available for purchase at Designs By Don (380 Main Street), Flaherty’s Jeweler inside Wilmington Plaza (240 Main Street) and at the Recreation Department Office at Town Hall (121 Glen Road).
Many of the previous years’ ornaments will be available to purchase at the WoW Festival of Trees on Friday, December 1, 2023 through Sunday, December 3, 2023, in the St. Dorothy’s Church’s lower level hall. 2022 ornaments cost $5 and previous years are $1.
All proceeds will benefit the Wilmington Community Fund. The Fund has three major goals: (1) provide direct relief to Wilmington families, individuals, the elderly and children; (2) provide basic needs — heat, light, utilities, emergency assistance and medical relief; and (3) provide food products on a bimonthly basis to those in need.
