WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for October 17, 2023: Wilmington Man Arrested On Assault Charge; Tewksbury Woman Arrested On Shoplifting Charge

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, October 17, 2023:
  • Police cited a driver for speeding and unregistered motor vehicle. Driver complained of chest pain and was transported to Lahey by Fire Department. Vehicle was towed from near North Intermediate School on Salem Street. (5:47am)
  • A caller reported a black male appeared to be pulling on door handles, of at least 2  cars, in the MBTA parking lot. Police located man on Main Street. Man refused to identify himself or answer questions. Nothing appeared to be out of place in parking lot. (10:40am)
  • Kevin Allain (51, Wilmington) was arrested for Assault. (4:04pm)
  • Loss prevention officer at Target reported man who constantly steals is in store, currently trying on clothes and concealing tags. Man left prior to police arrival. Target will put together a packet of information and drop off at station. (4:19pm)
  • Shauna L. Myers (26, Manchester, NH) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. (4:44pm)
  • Janeth Ruth Sierra Galaviz (33, Tewksbury) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Speeding. (5:40pm)
  • A vehicle struck a pedestrian near Market Basket. Female was transported to Lahey Hospital. (7:07pm)
  • Police responded to a vehicle crash near Rocco’s on Main Street. Vehicle in the woods in the corner of Wisser Street and Main Street. Driver was initially unresponsive. Female was complaining of chest pain. Signs belonging to Mass Highway were damaged. Vehicle towed. No additional information on injuries. (8:38pm)
