WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for October 14, 2023: 2 Drivers Served Summonses

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, October 14, 2023:
  • Lindsay Vasques (18, Medford) was served a summons for Failure To Stop For Police and Trespass With A Motor Vehicle. Police assisted North Reading Police with dispersing a large amount of cars from the Concord Street area. (12:43am)
  • Edwin Ramos (39, Wilmington) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License (Subsequent Offense) and Failure To Stop/Yield. (5:38am)
  • A caller reported her vehicle was damaged while driving through the road construction on Shawsheen Avenue. (11:12am)
  • A rabid fischer cat was observed in the rear parking lot of the Public Safety Building. North Reading Animal Control Officer checked area and could not locate. (1:38pm)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Boutwell Street. Both vehicles towed. One driver was cited for marked lanes violation and hands free violation. Nearby homeowner provided Ring footage. (2:52pm)
  • Kids on bikes were reported causing issues with staff at the 99 Restaurant on Lowell Street. Kids were reportedly misbehaving in the restaurant and riding bicycles in the parking lot, impeding customer traffic. (8:07pm)
