Bookends Book Group
Monday, October 23, 10am
This book group discusses contemporary books, both fiction and non-fiction, led by Library Associate Rebecca Lowe. Copies of the featured book are available at the library. October’s featured title is The Facemaker by Lindsay Fitzharris.
HYBRID DEI Discussion Group
Monday, October 23, 7pm
This group meets quarterly and is for anyone who is concerned with Diversity Equity and Inclusion. If you were in one or more of our DEI Book club meetings, you can use this group to hold yourself accountable by sharing what you did with the things you learned in the book. If you weren’t in any of the DEI book club meetings, but are interested in sharing your DEI efforts this group is for you, too. It’s also for anyone who’s interested in getting ideas of things to do. You can attend either in person or via Zoom.

VIRTUAL Creative Writing Skills Group

Masks in Motion with Pazzi Lazzi Troupe
Thursday, October 26, 7pm
Discover Commedia dell’Arte and its music, the renowned Italian Renaissance theater which is the base of modern comedy! This lecture/demonstration is presented by actress Chiara Durazzini and musician Dan Meyers. Chiara and Dan will perform a short skit featuring Arlecchino, one of the most famous Commedia stock characters. After, there will be a lecture with slides about the history and characteristics of Commedia dell’Arte and its legacy, and a practical demonstration of its characters and music. There will be a Q. & A. to follow.
Needleworkers

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy a little conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.

The Community Teamwork Family Resource Network is here weekly! Join us for our community playgroup where we will work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Book Store Next Door
The Book Store Next Door is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.
Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list on our website!
WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.
WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.

Join WML’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion group! This group meets quarterly and talks about anything DEI related. This is a hybrid program that can be attended both in person and virtually through Zoom.
