Below is a press release from the WHS Volleyball Team:
WILMINGTON, MA — This year, thousands of volleyball athletes from around the country will be participating in the Side-Out Foundation’s Dig Pink® program. The WHS Girls Volleyball Teams will become advocates for those with metastatic breast cancer while raising funds to support breast cancer research that is giving more time to those living with MBC.
Wilmington High School Girls Volleyball will be hosting a Dig Pink® match on Thursday, October 5, 2023, to support the Side-Out Foundation, in the WHS Gymnasium. JV A/B plays at 4pm. Varsity plays at 5:45pm. The Wildcats will be taking on the Woburn Tanners.
Donations to support breast cancer can be made at https://giving.side-out.org/campaigns/19834.
All funds from donations, a bake sale, and a raffle before, during, and after the volleyball match will benefit the Side-Out Foundation. The Side-Out Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 2004 to make a significant and identifiable impact on the lives of metastatic breast cancer patients and their families.
JOIN IN ON OCTOBER 5TH at Wilmington High School. Whether you can join the game or not, a donation will support our goal to raise $3,000.
