WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for September 22, 2023: 2 Drivers Served Summons

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, September 22, 2023:
  • A Woburn Street caller reported hearing 2 gunshots this morning around 6:15am. Caller checked area and did not see anything. Police responded and found nothing. (7:45am)
  • Police responded to terminated employee who became irate at autobody shop. Police resorted the peace and man left without incident. (8:28am)
  • Mattison Louise Thyne (21, Methuen) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended Registration (Subsequent Offense) and Uninsured Motor Vehicle. (10:30am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred near Town Hall. Both parties got out and started yelling at each other. Both vehicles towed. Injuries noted, but medical attention declined. A passenger was having a panic attack. (7:09pm)
  • Fernando J. Martins, Jr. (31, Wilmington) was served a summons for Leaving Scene Of Property Damage. A caller reported a vehicle struck a light pole at Yentile Recreational Facility and took off. (10:53pm)
