WILMINGTON, MA — Orlando Colleameno, age 97, of Wilmington, passed away on September 22, 2023.
Orlando proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII.
Orlando was the beloved husband of the late Theresa (Lanza) Colleameno, devoted father of Elaine Spartichino, Sandra Colleameno, and David Colleameno all of Wilmington, loving “Papa” of Shawna Irons, Amanda Colleameno & her husband “Papa’s best buddy” Claudio Pereira, and the late Leanne Neenan, “Great-Papa” of Arianna and Alivia, cherished son of the late Italo and Alma E. (Scigliano) Colleameno, stepson of the late Florence Colleameno, dear brother of Angela LeBeau & her husband William, the late Robert Colleameno & his late wife Mary, the late Alfred Colleameno & his wife Stephanie, the late Susan DiRusso and the late Reynolds Surette, brother-in-law of Ann Marie & Joseph Rolando and Lenny & Cathy Dalio. Orlando is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Monday, September 25th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m.
Memorial donations in Orlando’s name may be made to The Home for Little Wanderers, 10 Guest Street, Boston MA 02135.
