- Residents are invited to a Community Farewell for Library Director Tina Stewart from 4pm to 6pm in the Stewart Room of the Library. Town Manager Jeff Hull will present Stewart with the Retirement Baldwin Apple after 49 years of service to the town. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
- The WHS Varsity Football Team hosts Wahconah Regional High School at 7pm at Alumni Stadium.
- Wilmington veterans and their families are invited to a free End of Summer BBQ at noon at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue).
- The Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue) is holding Meat Raffle Bingo inside O’Leary’s Pub (basement) at 7:30pm.
