WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for August 25, 2023

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, August 25, 2023:
  • Fire Department responding to report of a burning odor inside a dishwasher on Pinewood Road. (10:17am)
  • William Paul O’Brien (57, Everett) was arrested on the following charges. Police had him pulled on Route 62 at 93 ramps, after a report of an erratic operator. O’Brien fled onto the highway and was eventually taken into custody in Lawrence.

    • Speeding
    • Marked Lanes Violation
    • Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License (subsequent offense)
    • Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended or Revoked Registration
    • Uninsured Motor Vehicle
    • Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle
  • A caller reported a glass pane was broken at the Library. Building should be empty, so caller requested a walk-through. Building checked secure. (9:11pm)
