WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Thursday, August 10, 2023:
- The Wilmington Memorial Library invites residents to the Swain Green from 5:30pm to 7pm to celebrate the end of another wonderful summer with games, food trucks, raffles, and music featuring Philip Alexander! Dinner is available to purchase from food trucks. Children’s games, crafts, prizes, and more will also be provided.
- The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding the following activities: Gentle Yoga (9am); Art (9:45am); Knitting & Crocheting (10:30am); Country Line Dancing (10:30am); Ceramics (1:30pm); and Functionally Fit (2pm). Learn more HERE
- The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is typically open for free tours from 10am to 2pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays, but the Museum is CLOSED this week.
- Shawsheen Tech will be holding registration for their upcoming Fall Learn to Swim Program, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, in the school’s pool hallway. Learn more HERE.
- Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm. Wilmington residents with proof of residency may use the beach at no charge. Acceptable forms of ID include a current Mass. Driver’s License with a Wilmington address, an RMV issued Mass. ID with a Wilmington addressor a Wilmington Public Schools ID. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up).
