Novel Ideas Book Group

Enjoy reading fiction? Join the library’s fiction book group led by Adult Services Librarian Erin Driscoll. Please stop by the library to pick up a copy of the featured book. August’s featured book is Foster by Claire Keegan.

VIRTUAL Poetry Circle

Wilmington Community Playgroup

The Community Teamwork Family Resource Network is here for 5-week playgroup sessions! Join us for our community playgroup where we will work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Ask us about any resources we can help provide for you and your family. Registration is for this day only. For more Community Playgroups, register for each date you’re available to attend. Multiplayer Monday

The Baldwin Room will be reserved for teens in grades 6-12 to use our Nintendo Switch and projector! Try out the latest games, play with friends, and make new ones. No registration required, just come by if you’re around! Grades 6-12

Switch it Up! Video Game Club

Kids’ Book Cafe
Wednesday, August 16, 3:45pm
A book tasting for students in Grades 3-5. Sample a variety of books, both fiction and nonfiction, revolving around the same genre or theme. Each session will include either a themed snack or activity! Grades 3-5

Family Craft Night: Upcycled CD’s

Use old CDs that we’ve saved to create something new! A suncatcher, a wall hanging, a mosaic, and more! Ages 3+ and their caregivers

Middle School Book Group

Join us for snacks & lively book discussion! Book TBD, but copies will be available at the Youth Desk for checkout prior to the meeting; come by to grab one! Grades 6-8

VIRTUAL D&D
Saturday, August 19, 3pm
Interested in finding out more about this fantasy tabletop role-playing game, or looking for a group to play with? Join us for a virtual campaign via Discord, a private server, every month with DM Mike! We use D&DBeyond to track and create our characters. Grades 6-8

Book Store Next Door

The Book Store Next Door is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.

WML In-Person Programming

Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.

WML Virtual Programming

The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.
