- Statement from WPD: The Wilmington Police Department is currently investigating a motor vehicle crash involving two police cruisers. The crash occurred at approximately 12:07 pm at the intersection of High Street and Linda Road as the two fully marked police units were responding to a disturbance call. Both officers sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The preliminary investigation indicates that one cruiser rear ended the other. The full circumstances of the crash remain under investigation by the Wilmington Police Department. (12:07pm)
