WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Wednesday, August 2, 2023:

  • The Wilmington Conservation Commission meets at 7pm in the Town Hall Auditorium. Read the agenda HERE.
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding several activities and programs — Blood Pressure (9am); Special Exercise (9:30am); Cards & Games (1pm); and Poker (1pm). Learn more HERE
  • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Family Movie Night (“Frozen Sing-Along”) at 6pm in the Stewart Room. Learn more & register HERE.
  • The Wilmington Police Department is conducting Child Safety Seat Inspections and Installations at the Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) between 10am and noon. No appointments are necessary, however, it is strongly encouraged that you call ahead at 978-658-5071 to make sure a technician is available. Learn more HERE.
  • The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex is open from 10am to 4pm. Shop for gently used books! Paperbacks $1, Hardcover $2. Good condition donations of up to two boxes are accepted during the store’s hours. For larger donations or to volunteer at the store, please email BookStoreNextDoor@gmail.com. All of the store’s proceeds benefit the Wilmington Memorial Library.
  • Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm. Wilmington residents with proof of residency may use the beach at no charge. Acceptable forms of ID include a current Mass. Driver’s License with a Wilmington address, an RMV  issued Mass. ID with a Wilmington addressor a Wilmington Public Schools ID. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up).
