WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Tuesday, August 1, 2023:
- The Wilmington Police Department is holding its 9th Annual National Night Out celebration from 5pm to 8pm at Rotary Park, across from the Public Safety Building. National Night Out will feature police and emergency vehicle displays, demonstrations, food, and fun for the whole family. Learn more HERE.
- The Wilmington Planning Board is holding a meeting at 7:30pm in the Town Hall Auditorium. Read the agenda HERE. The Town is also inviting residents to an Information Session on Section 3A of the State’s Zoning Act from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Learn more HERE.
- The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding the following: Hiking Group (9am); Dance & Tone Class (9:30am); Beading Group (10:30am); and Functionally Fit (2pm). Learn more HERE.
- The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury) is holding bingo — open to the public — every Tuesday. Doors open at 4pm. Bingo starts at 6:45pm.
- The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open for free tours from 10am to 2pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
- Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm. Wilmington residents with proof of residency may use the beach at no charge. Acceptable forms of ID include a current Mass. Driver’s License with a Wilmington address, an RMV issued Mass. ID with a Wilmington addressor a Wilmington Public Schools ID. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up).
