WILMINGTON, MA — As part of a service project for her Girl Scout Gold Award, Wilmington High School senior Hannah Bryson is running a free All-Girls Wrestling Camp at Iron Clad Martial Arts (335 Main Street, Wilmington) to increase female representation in the sport of wrestling.
The camp will take place from 10am to noon, Monday, August 7, 2023 through Friday, August 11, 2023. The camp is designed for girls going into Grades 3-8. Girls will learn the basics of wrestling, build confidence, win awards, meet special guest wrestlers, and have fun.
Hannah is the first girl in WHS history to join the wrestling team. Her first season was a historic success — she finished third in Massachusetts and fifth in New England.
