WALTHAM, MA — Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEMA), the largest girl serving organization in Massachusetts and 10th largest Girl Scout council in the United States, is proud to recognize Marie Narmoyle of Wilmington with the President’s Award as a member of the Outdoor Facilitators.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts celebrated the dedication and skill of their 11,500 volunteers at their annual Volunteer Recognition Celebration, which took place on Sunday, June 4, 2023. The 2023 class of GSEMA Volunteer Recognition Honorees included over 90 volunteers.
Volunteer recognition pins are awarded at the council level based on an individual’s exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE), which has had a measurable impact on mission delivery in one (or more) geographic areas of service. Volunteers are eligible every three years.
Narmoyle was awarded the President’s Award. The President’s Award recognizes a geographic area service unit, service-delivery team or committee whose exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience surpassed team goals and resulted in significant, measurable impact toward reaching the council’s overall goals.
