School Committee To Discuss Superintendent Evaluation, High School Handbook, Middle School Changes, Bullying & More At Tonight’s Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee is holding a meeting this Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 7pm via Zoom.

The meeting will be streamed live on WCTV.org and on WCTV.

There are several noteworthy items on the 7pm meeting agenda, including:

  • Committee’s Evaluation Report of Superintendent (mid-cycle review)
  • Approval of the 2023-2024 High School Handbook
  • Update on Construction Project at Middle School
  • Update on Middle School Improvement Plan
  • Update on District’s Strategic Planning Process
  • Update on District’s Bullying Plan & Intervention Plan
  • Review of Policy Changes regarding Student Absences & Excuses and Bullying Prevention Policy (first readings — no votes expected)
  • Approval of the Disposal of Surplus Material from West & Shawsheen Schools
  • Recognition of WHS Student School Committee member Audrey LaConte

The School Committee will also hear any public comments, correspondence, and subcommittee reports.
