WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for June 23, 2023

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, June 23, 2023:
  • A caller reported a vehicle struck a stone wall in West Street area. Bumper was left in roadway. Police checked surrounding areas and did not locate vehicle. (10:42am)
  • A vehicle struck a pole on Main Street. Fire Department transported one party. Vehicle towed. Verizon notified for pole safety check. (1:56pm)
  • Town Manager reported someone screaming from back of fields behind Town Hall. Police responded. Kids on Garden Street were playing music and yelling into a PA system. (2:09pm)
  • A caller reported a 6 or 7 year-old girl was riding a dirt bike on Strout Avenue. Police responded and confirmed. Police advised father of girl and sent them on their way. (5:46pm)
  • Douglas Napoleo De Oliveria (35, Lowell) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Defective Windshield. (6:33pm)
  • A caller reported she drove down Reed Street and saw a white male and female dressed in all black with duffle bags. When she drove closer, they dropped the bag and stared at her. Caller thought it was suspicious. Police responded and were unable to locate. (11:58pm)
