WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for June 22, 2023: Wilmington Man Arrested; Driver Served Summons

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, June 22, 2023:
  • Fire Department responded to an individual stuck in an elevator at the Wilmington Memorial Library. (9:11am)
  • A caller reported a man in drive-thru at Dunkin’ on Middlesex Avenue stopping cars and asking for a ride to Malden train station. Police responded and gave man a ride to Reading Depot. (12:21pm)
  • Staff at AdviniaCare on West Street reported a past assault between residents. (1:03pm)
  • Nicholas Michael Hutchinsonmejia (25, Dracut) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and Speeding. (5:24pm)
  • James F. McLaughlin (33, Wilmington) was arrested for Breaking & Entering In Nighttime To Commit A Felony; Larceny Under $1200; and Receiving Stolen Property Valued At Under $1200. An Avalon Drive caller reported two people looking into vehicles and appear to be under the influence. When caller asked where they lived, they made rude remarks. (11:15pm)
