School Committee To Honor These 13 Retirees At Wednesday’s Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee will be recognizing the school district’s 2022-2023 retirees at their upcoming meeting on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

The retirees to be honored include:

• Karen Boudreau, Woburn Street School, Café Manager, 24 Years of Service (retired in November 2022)
• Dana Burnham, District, OIT Data Assistant, 12 Years of Service
• Lisa Dooling, West Intermediate School, Educational Assistant, 6 Years of Service
• Marilyn Gounaris, North Intermediate School, Educational Assistant, 34 Years of Service
• Diane Harvey, Wilmington High School, Educational Assistant, unspecified number of years of service
• Susan MacDonald, West Intermediate/District, ESL Teacher/CTL, 17 Years of Service
• Marjorie Malone, Wilmington Middle School, Educational Assistant, 18 Years of Service
• Patricia Moulton, West Intermediate School, Grade 5 Teacher, unspecified number of years of service
• Justine Palermo, Wilmington Middle School, Administrative Assistant, 23 Years of Service (retired in January 2023)
• Leslie Parshley, Boutwell Early Childhood Center, Part-Time Food Service, 6 Years of Service (retired in December 2022)
• Jean Shibilia, Woburn Street School, Food Service Staff, 23 Years of Service (retired in January 2023)
• Lynda Spinazola, Wilmington Middle School, Math Strategies Teacher, 21 Years of Service
• Suzanne Sullivan, Woburn Street School, Principal, 3+ Years of Service (retired in October 2022)

School Committee members will gather in the High School Courtyard for a reception with the retirees at 6pm. Retirees will then be acknowledged at the beginning of the public meeting at 7pm. The meeting will be televised live on WCTV and wctv.org.
