5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Sunday, June 11, 2023: Wilmington Farmers Market Season Opens, Town Museum Celebrates 50th Anniversary

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Sunday, June 11, 2023:

• The Wilmington Farmers Market is open from 10am to 1pm on the Swain Green, across from the Town Common, at 140 Middlesex Avenue. See the lineup HERE.
• The Wilmington High School Football Teams are holding a Car Wash Fundraiser, from 9am to noon, in the Wilmington Fourth of July Building’s parking lot (142 Middlesex Avenue). Wilmington High School football players will be washing the vehicles. All donations will benefit the WHS football program. If you can’t attend, but would like to make a donation, you can also Venmo @Wilmington-TouchdownClub.
• The Wilmington Town Museum is celebrating its 50th Anniversary from 2pm to 4pm. In addition to speakers and tours, the event will also feature a range of fun activities for attendees of all ages. Colonial singers will provide live entertainment, and children can enjoy games and activities designed to teach them about Wilmington’s rich history. The museum will unveil a dedication plaque to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its acquisition. Free hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, and dessert will be served, providing a festive and delicious way to celebrate the museum’s 50th anniversary. Learn more HERE.

• Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm, each day. Wilmington residents with proof of residency may use the beach at no charge. Acceptable forms of ID include a current Massachusetts Driver’s License with a Wilmington address, an RMV issued Mass. ID with a Wilmington address, or a Wilmington Public Schools ID. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up).
