5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Saturday, June 10, 2023: Town-Wide Yard Sale, Library To Host Virtual Drag Queen Program, Town Beach Opens

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, June 10, 2023:

• The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding its 8th Annual Yard Sale this Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 8am to 2pm. 60 locations are participating in this year’s sale!  The list and map of yard sale locations can be found HERE. A Google Map is also located online HERE. Paper maps are available at the library, Town Hall, and the Market Basket courtesy counter.
• TOWN BEACH SEASON STARTS: Town Beach at Silver Lake will open for the Summer 2023 season from Saturday, June 10, 2023 through Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 10am to 6pm, each day. Wilmington residents with proof of residency may use the beach at no charge. Acceptable forms of ID include a current Mass. Driver’s License with a Wilmington address, an RMV  issued Mass. ID with a Wilmington addressor a Wilmington Public Schools ID. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up).
• The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding a virtual program with drag queen Giganta Smalls, from 4pm to 5pm, via ZOOM. Teens are welcome to join Giganta Smalls as she dishes on what the life of a drag performer is like and maybe pick up a few tips on make-up and costumes! This program will be held on Zoom, with a moderated Q&A monitored by the librarians from the hosting libraries. The program is geared towards ages 13-18. • The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
• Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm.
