WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 30, 2023: Police Respond To Multiple Calls Involving Protests Outside New Warehouses At Former Textron Location On Lowell St.

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, May 30, 2023:
  • Police spoke with protestors outside ARCO National (new warehouses) on Lowell Street. (6:18am)
  • A caller at the demonstrations outside ARCO National reported someone was audio-taping them without their approval. Police responded and spoke to the involved parties. Caller was made aware that filming is allowed in a public place. (6:54pm)
  • A passerby reported demonstrators outside ARCO National on Lowell Street are causing a traffic issue and causing bicycles to go into the roadway. (7:04am)
  • A vehicle struck a pedestrian outside the ARCO National on Lowell Street. Pedestrian refused medical attention. (7:33am)
  • Carla Patric De Oliveira Silva (45, Tewksbury) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. (10:14am)
  • A caller reported dump trucks were using Glen Road as a cut-through and requested extra patrols during the day. (1:37pm)
  • A Sheridan Road caller reported having a baby blue jay in a box. Baby fell from nest when mother was attacked by other birds. Caller isn’t tall enough to put bird back in nest. (4:40pm)
