WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 29, 2023: Dracut Man Arrested On OUI Charges Thanks To Vigilant McDonald’s Employee & Customer

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, May 29, 2023:
  • An Uber driver reported passengers caused damage to the inside of his vehicle. (2:06am)
  • A party reported a past assault due to a disagreement over marijuana. (3:40pm)
  • Stephen McGurn (60, Dracut) was arrested for an OUI (Liquor). A caller reported they were in the McDonald’s drive-thru line and an employee stated they smelled alcohol from the previous vehicle. Police responded. Employee denied telling the caller that they smelled alcohol, but did state the driver’s movements were slow. Police were able to locate the vehicle in question. (8:57pm)
