WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 27, 2023: Man Arrested For Third OUI After Crash

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, May 27, 2023:
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Cross Street and Lowell Street. Both vehicles towed. No injuries noted. (8:02am)
  • A North Washington Street resident reported a possible IRS fraud. (9:27am)
  • David Charles Butcher (34, Peabody) was arrested for OUI Liquor (3rd Offense), Failure To Stop/Yield, Possession Of Open Container Of Alcohol In A Motor Vehicle, and Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. Butcher was involved in a 2-vehicle crash at Lowell Street and Woburn Street. Both vehicles towed. No injuries noted. (4:29pm)
