WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 25, 2023

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, May 25, 2023:
  • Police assisted the Fire Department with smoke conditions in a house on Pilling Road after a small electrical fire. (2:41am)
  • Police noted 25 MPH zone sign on Lowell Street is being covered by trees. DPW to be notified. (5:23am)
  • Police provided crowd control for strike or protest at ARCO National on Lowell Street. Police restored the peace. (6:23am)
  • Police notified Keolis that train gate arms were stuck going up and down on Concord Street. (6:41am)
  • Pacific Packaging on Industrial Way reported check fraud. (1:54pm)
  • A teacher reported a motorcycle or dirtbike went over curb near West Intermediate and into grass area, went through coned area, and nearly struck a child. Operator was wearing a black jacket with orange lettering. Police responded, but were unable to locate. (3:54pm)
  • A CARES employee reported a male was lurking around outside the North Intermediate School, where children were playing. Man was wearing a black hood, black hat, black pants and black sneaker. Police responded. Man was with his childhood, who was in the playground. Checked OK. (4:25pm)
