WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, May 21, 2023:
  • A caller reported losing her car key in the Market Basket parking lot last night. (10:31am)
  • Texas caller reported receiving a scam phone call about sneakers and believes the call originated from Wilmington. Caller was told to contact their local police department. (11:03am)
  • A Salem St. resident reported an ongoing issue with an autistic child from the neighborhood coming onto his property. Resident is concerned for the child’s safety due to the dog living at this location. (12:58pm)
  • A walk-in party reported receiving a dog bite in the vicinity of Moore Street and Shawsheen Avenue. Bite broke the skin. Animal Control Officer was notified. (2:21pm)
  • A vehicle struck a deer on Route 125. Vehicle towed. State Police handled scene. (8:24pm)
