WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, May 13, 2023:
  • During a property check of Town Beach, police came across used fireworks. Police disposed of them properly at the station. (1:08am)
  • After three calls from police, MassDOT eventually responded and was able to reset traffic lights at Church Street and Main Street after they were not cycling properly. (8:26am)
  • A Lawrence Street caller reported a beer bottle was thrown through a vehicle window. (10:22am)
  • Fire Department responded to mulch fire on Ballardvale Street. (1:16pm)
  • Police and Fire Departments responded to outdoor structure fire on Salem Street. (6:52pm)
  • A juvenile found a knife on Church Street and turned it in at station. (7:28pm)
  • A deer was struck and killed by a vehicle on Woburn Street. (7:40pm)
