WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 12, 2023: Mountain Lion Sighting?; Police Issue 3 Summonses

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, May 12, 2023:
  • Daijah Leigh Amoh (21, Bedford) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. (1:05am)
  • Police assisted with a SWAT Call in Andover. (1:07am)
  • Ryan Michael Higgins (18, Billerica) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License, No Or Expired Inspection Sticker, and Motor Vehicle Lights Violation. (5:43am)
  • A Main Street caller reported a mountain lion sighting in his backyard. Caller said animal wandered back into the wetland area behind his residence. Animal Control Officer was notified. (10:56am)
  • Police and Fire Departments responded to a dumpster fire on Cedar Street. (12:40pm)
  • Jonathan R. Aquino (34, Billerica) was served a summons for Uttering A False Check; Attempted Larceny By Check; and Check Forgery. A non-customer attempted to cash a fraudulent check for $4,173.60 at Reading Cooperative Bank on Middlesex Avenue. (2:47pm)
  • A caller reported train gates and lights were malfunctioning on Clark Street. Keolis was notified. Transit police was on scene directing traffic. (6:07pm)
