WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for April 7, 2023: Wilmington Man Arrested On OUI Charges; More Kids Behaving Badly

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, April 7, 2023:
  • Police came across two juveniles in dark clothing hiding behind trees in the Federal St. and Liberty St. area. Parents were contacted and juveniles were picked up. (1:34am)
  • Police responded to a verbal argument between customer and staff member at Dollar Tree. Customer was issued a no trespass order. (11:17am)
  • Fire Department responded to brush fire across 3 properties on Nichols Street. (12:33pm)
  • Keolis reported a group of juveniles were throwing objects at trains from the Richmond Street bridge. (3:41pm)
  • Fire Engine involved in 2-vehicle crash at Glen Road and Jones Avenue. Both vehicle were drivable. No injuries noted. (4:29pm)
  • A caller reported he struck a deer near Winchester Family Medical Center on Salem Street. Deer ran off. (8:44pm)
  • Gerald V. Piccirillo (56, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI (Liquor); Leaving Scene Of Property Damage; and Marked Lanes Violation. Piccirillo reportedly struck another vehicle near Harnden Tavern on Salem Street and drove on. (9:18pm)
