WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for March 23, 2023

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, March 23, 2023:
  • Police conducted taser training at the station. (10:55am)
  • Police received a text to 911 that said “help me.” Ping showed the phone southbound on Main Street, passing the Hyundai dealership. Police pulled over a vehicle, but it was not the one in question. Police spoke with Starbucks employee, who stated nothing was out of the ordinary. Police checked the Hyundai dealership. The owner of the phone then called dispatch to report her daughter was playing a prank on her phone. Police told owner to drive to the station to confirm. Police confirmed there was no emergency. Police spoke with the phone owner and her daughter. (3:24pm)
  • Police checked on three cars parked in the Town Beach parking lot and sent them on their way. (8:31pm)
