WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for February 19, 2023: Turkeys Wreaking Havoc At Wilmington Plaza; Hit & Run Involved 2 Cars Parked Outside Schools

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, February 19, 2023:
  • Wilmington Police assisted with a SWAT response in Haverhill. (12:49am)
  • An employee at Health Plus Urgent Care at Wilmington Plaza reporting two turkeys are preventing patients from entering the building. Police responded and moved the turkeys along. (8:03am)
  • A caller reported her dog had a seizure and is acting aggressively. Police advised caller to speak with emergency veterinary center to get advice, and to call back if officer is needed for assistance. (10:21am)
  • A witness reported a black SUV sideswiped parked car near West Intermediate School on Carter Lane and continued on towards Boutwell Street. Police responded and noted two vehicles were sideswiped. Police spoke with resident of nearby home, but their camera doesn’t reach the street. Police unable to locate involved vehicle. Vehicle described as black Honda CRV. Burlington and Billerica Police notified. (1:37pm)
  • A Shady Lane Drive caller reported an issue with a Dominos driver. Driver left by the time police arrived. Driver was attempted to deliver a pizza, but homeowner hadn’t ordered one. (8:54pm)
