WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for February 16, 2023: Methuen Man Arrested For Alleged Terroristic Threats; Drugs Found At Amazon Warehouse

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, February 16, 2023:
  • A caller at Amazon Logistics on Fordham Road reported finding a baggie of what she thinks is drugs. Police responded and brought small baggie with substance inside to the station for destruction. (6:14am)
  • Jordyn Francisco Lantigua (26, Lawrence) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. (11:39am)
  • Christopher Gaigals (53, Methuen) was arrested for Hijack/Bomb Threat. A caller from New England Carpenters Benefit Fund on Fordham Road reported a man was making terroristic threats. (3:56pm)
  • A caller reported his dog was reported by another dog on Fairmeadow Road. Both dogs were current on their shots. Dog owner advised to keep dog on leash. (4:41pm)
  • Caller reported she was crossing the tracks on Glen Road and there was a train approaching the crossing a low speed and the gates did not activate. She felt the train was too close to the crossing for the gates not to have gone up. Police notified Keolis, who stated there is working going on in the area and that safety crews are on site to walk trains across the crossing. (5:53pm)
